Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Greek Telecom Company; the General Energy Company in Greece and the Cyprus Telecom Company will collaborate on the EMC submarine cable project.
During the recent official visit between His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to Greece, Saudi Telecom and Greek Telecom Company, entered into a strategic partnership to build a data cable project, called Med Data Corridor (EMC) undersea and land fiber optic data cable that will link Europe with Asia. The cable project will ensure the smooth digital supply of data worldwide.
