Microsoft says support for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL 2) distros can now be added to any machine running Windows Server 2022 by installing this month’s Patch Tuesday updates.
The announcement comes after the company revealed in May that WSL 2 support was available for those who wanted to test it before the general rollout after installing the KB5014021 cumulative update preview.
On Tuesday, Windows Developer Platform Program Manager Craig Loewen officially revealed general availability for all Windows Server 2022 users.
