In an effort to combat misinformation spread through photos and video, Instagram adds the warning “False Information” on the platform.
The Instagram further strengthen its efforts to combat misinformation and now automatically includes the labeling of certain false articles. Using a combination of automation and user reporting, suspicious content sent to independent auditors for audit and will be “False” (false) if it is proved fake.
