Nowadays cyber criminals have developed many methods and have discovered various ways to deceive their victims. And recently, as he said Kaspersky, malware began to use alerts on Google Calendar to spread Phishing left.

The attack takes advantage of a setting in Google Calendar that automatically downloads events and invitations from the account gmail of the user.

Then an alert is displayed to the user, prompting him / her to click on a link to respond to an investigation or to claim a cash prize. If the victim clicks on the link, it is transferred to a fake site with a simple questionnaire. There he will be asked to provide some personal information including his name, address, telephone number and bank account details, in order to be able to take part in the competition.
