Blocksly is a bogus browser extension that changes the main settings, like the homepage, new tab address, and search engine. It can also cause an increased amount of commercial content, like pop-ups, banners, and redirects. Such apps are created for the purpose of generating revenue from pay-per-click advertising.
The plugin is promoted as an “innovative ad protector” but in reality, it does not have any useful functions that are unavailable in a default browser. Crooks often try to make their apps look like “handy” tools to make users download them themselves.
