Academics from Columbia University developed one special tool for Android apps analysis, in order to see if The applications use cryptographic code in an unsafe way (crypto bugs).

The tool, developed by the researchers, is called CRYLOGGER and was used for resolution 1.780 Android apps, to which the most popular belong applications 33 different categories of Play Store (during September and October 2019).
