A ‘2019 semester: 23 million stolen cards in the Dark Web

The Cybersecurity Sixgill company conducted a research , whose results are very worrying. The researchers found that about 23 million stolen credit and debit cards were offered for sale in the dark web, during the first half of 2019.

The researchers did a study on fraud, made in dark web (Underground Fraud report). They found that more than 23 million credit cards are for sale. The 60% of stolen credit and debit cards only originated by United States .

Specifically, one of the researchers said: “Almost two out of three stolen cards, ie more than 15 million, came from the USA.”
