The United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO) came under cyber attack late last week, shutting down many of its online services. Based in London, the United Nations International Maritime Organization is responsible for regulating and securing global transport.
According to a tweet released by the IMO last Wednesday, its site was experiencing some technical issues, and a day later, the organization admitted that these issues were caused by malicious agents who carried out a cyber attack against it.
