This Registry trick lets you block major Windows 10 updates

New Microsoft documentation has revealed a Group policy and Registry tweak that allows you to specify the specific Windows version you wish to stay on and prevent new feature updates from being installed.

With Windows 10’s May 2019 Update, Microsoft introduced the ability to defer all Windows 10 updates, including feature updates, for up to 35 days via the Windows Update settings.

Windows 10 Pro and other enterprise versions also had a defer updates feature that lets you block Windows 10 feature updates for up to 365 days.
