The UK government has approved funding of £ 2 million ($ 2.57 million) for 18 projects that will develop anti-drone drone technology and detection technologies.
The funding is part of a competition conducted by the Defense and Security Acceleration Program (DASA) in the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense (MOD). Officials of MOD approved funding earlier this year in April, after a series of invasions by amateur drone that froze air travel at several airports across the United Kingdom .
