Η Honeywell is in the middle of a major experiment, with the aim of creating a playbook for mass vaccinations COVID-19, through continuous improvement and events based on a number of technologies such as industrial Internet of things (IoT). Together with Atrium Health, Tepper Sports & Entertainment and Charlotte Motor Speedway, Honeywell is working with the State of North Carolina to distribute 1 million COVID-19 vaccines by July 4. Public-private partnerships highlight the moving parts behind the vaccination effort. In the context of this project, the role of IT and data management in the distribution of vaccines is particularly important.
