The hackers have found a new way to steal data from their candidate victims. This time, they use it an Android game horror (with over 50.000 facilities), which was found to steals them credentials of Google and Facebook player accounts.
The game is called Scary Granny ZOMBYE Mod: The Horror Game 2019 (Scary Granny).
The Scary Granny was a fully functional game and did not create any suspicion users. However, in June 27 was removed from the Play Store of Google, after some researchers discovered that the game was being used for the theft credentials and the data collection.
The research team reported that the game did not show it malicious behavior, immediately after installation, but after two days.
