A serious vulnerability affecting user privacy called “acropalypse“, it affects the Windows 11 Snipping Tool, allowing users to recover (partially) content of a compromised image processing.
Last week, security experts David Buchanan and Simon Aarons they revealed a bug in the tool Its Markup Tool Google Pixel which retained the initials data of the image despite cropping or editing it. This flaw poses a serious privacy risk. Someone may have shared an image – such as a credit card with the number blurred or personal photos in which the face has been removed. However, because of this error it could be possible partial recovery of the original photo (in which things are seen that should not be seen).
