Security researchers from Armorblox discovered two new phishing attacks targeting its clients JPMorgan Chase Bank. Both attacks used his tactics social engineering and brand forgery, in an effort to steal customers’ login credentials.
In one attack an email was sent that allegedly contained a credit card statement. The other attack forged a locked account workflow to (falsely) inform JPMorgan Chase Bank customers that access to their account had been blocked after unusual login activity was detected.
