According to a notice of Microsoft, the Nobelium is currently carrying out a campaign phishing ( Phishing ), using the account of the USAID e Constant Contact email marketing platform.
The campaign has targeted about 3,000 accounts linked to government agencies, think tanks, consultants and NGOs, Microsoft said. The United States has received the largest number of malicious emails, but at least 24 countries have received similar emails.
“Nobelium launched the attacks this week by gaining access to USAID’s Constant Contact account,” said Tom Burt, Microsoft’s vice president of customer security and trust.
