Apple used a product launch to reveal its streaming TV service will start on November 1 at a cost of A$7.99 a month, as well as make a slew of hardware announcements including new cameras for the latest iPhones.
The launch marked a turning point for the tech giant where it focuses as much on services as its hardware and software.
The Apple TV+ streaming service will be available in over 100 countries and buyers of an iPhone, iPad or Mac will get a free year of streaming television service, the company announced.
