A bank in China has forced at least two Western companies to install contaminated tax software on their systems.
It is a technology / software company based in the United Kingdom and a financial institution. Both companies had recently opened new offices in China.
As the Trustwave , contacting the two companies found that the bank demanded from both to install the infected software. The software, called Intelligent Tax , is used to pay local taxes.
